Umpqua Rivers |
We are fishing for winter steelhead on the Umpqua
Rivers and will continue through March/April. The rivers
have been high with cold water conditions, therefore,
slowing down the catch. February & March should prove to be
great fishing. |

Elk/Sixes Rivers
Port Orford, OR |
Both rivers are producing bright Fall Chinook. Last Friday
was an excellent day on the Sixes River. In addition to the
fish landed, clients hooked several other fish. Clients kept
a 22#, 28# & 30#; two were hatchery fish. Sunday we fished
the Elk River with clients landing 2 nice fish. If we
continue to get moderate rains, both rivers will continue to
be fishable. November should prove to be an excellent month
for Fall Chinook fishing on these coastal rivers! |

Umpqua Rivers |
The last few weeks provided
good steelhead fishing on sections of the North & South
Umpqua Rivers. Recent rains & snow melt has slowed things
some. When rivers drop fishing should even be better in the
following weeks. |
